In all Hawaii there is nothing quite like Puamana. Low rise, low density townhouses share 28 acres of lush gardens, lawns and nearly a mile of beautiful oceanfront. Puamana is a private gated community located just one mile south on historic Lahaina.
Once you enter the gates of Puamana, you will notice a sense of calm and peace. Puamana has three swimming pools (one pool on the beach for adults only). There is a tennis court, paddle tennis and ping pong if you feel like getting active. There's plenty of room to move around at your own pace at Puamana. There are large lawns bordered by lush tropical planting throughout Puamana which enhances strolls to the pools, beach or tennis court.
Once the seaside residence of a great sugar plantation. Puamana affords visitors to the Valley Isle a tranquil colony of pleasant homes and gardens along a sunny beach. Puamana's former Estate House is now a club house for guests and owners. From the patio you'll enjoy spectacular view of the Island of Lanai and the Roads of Lahaina where the sun sets in splendor between tropical palms.
This is truly a tranquil place to stay and play.
Once you arrive:
Check in at the office on your first day - you need a car sticker.
There are three swimming pools - try them all!
Tennis court must be reserved at the office.
If mangoes are ripe, there are poles for picking them at the office.
There is usually a small sandy beach at the coast, but it moves around. When you wade out, be careful of rocks. The waves are generally safe, but common sense should be used, especially with children. If you go in north of the pool, beware of urchins - their sharp spines can stab you in the foot.
All lawn areas are common space for everyone to enjoy, but please respect other's privacy!
